Instant Chocolate Mug Cake (No Egg)

The ultimate emergency dessert. This chocolate mug cake is rich, moist, and fudgy—and it's ready in 60 seconds. Unlike many mug cakes that turn rubbery due to egg, this eggless version stays tender and moist. Deep chocolate flavor comes from cocoa powder and chocolate chips. It's a single-serving miracle for when you need a sweet treat but don't want to bake a whole cake. Dangerously good.

Instant Chocolate Mug Cake (No Egg)

Method

  1. Whisk flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, and salt in a microwave-safe mug.
  2. Stir in milk and oil until smooth (no clumps!).
  3. Drop chocolate chips into the center (molten core!).
  4. Microwave on high for 60 seconds.
  5. Let cool for 1 minute before digging in.

Microwave times are for a 1,000 W microwave, the usual US size. In an 800 W microwave (common in the UK and Europe) add about a quarter more time; at 1,200 W check a little early.
